Frequently asked questions

What is Possible Loan?

A Possible Loan is a small-dollar installment loan designed to provide quick* access to cash, often within seconds, while helping build credit history. Unlike payday loans, which often require lump-sum repayment (source: CFPB), Possible Loans are repaid in four¨ scheduled installments. Eligibility is based on your banking activity rather than a FICO check. Payments are reported to credit bureaus, and you can reschedule each payment up to 29 days from the originally scheduled date with no rescheduling fee.

How much does a Possible Loan cost?

The cost of a Possible Loan varies by state and loan amount. In many states, fees range from $10–$25 per $100 borrowed. Some states, including Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas, have variable fees—check the Possible app or Sample Payment Schedules for details. Repayment is in installments, and you can reschedule payments up to 29 days from the originally scheduled date with no late fees.

How long does it take to apply and get a decision?

Most customers complete the Possible Loan application in a few minutes through the mobile app. After you sign up, enter your information, and link your bank account, Possible evaluates your eligibility without a FICO check. Many applicants receive a decision in minutes. You can apply at any time directly in the Possible app.

When will I get the money?

If approved, most customers who choose debit card disbursement receive funds within minutes. Timing may vary by bank or debit card provider. If you select ACH transfer to your bank account instead, it can take longer—up to 5 business days for a small percentage of customers. Make sure your bank account is active and correctly linked in the Possible app.

What payment methods can I use?

Payments are typically made automatically from your linked bank account. You may also be able to submit manual payments in the Possible app using your debit card or bank account information. Payments are scheduled in installments, and you can reschedule each one up to 29 days from the originally scheduled date with no rescheduling fee. You can review and update your payment method in the Possible app.

What benefits are available for which members?

All Possible Loan customers receive standard benefits, including installment-based repayment, the ability to reschedule each payment up to 29 days from the originally scheduled date with no rescheduling fee, and payment reporting to credit bureaus. On-time payments may help build credit history over time.
